Husband life

We've all heard about the dad life but what about the husband life? Yea a lot of us are  dads but we were husbands first. We went through the dating phase and then fall in love and then proposal stage and finally getting married to our wives. We do a lot for our wives that a lot of people don't realize. We open doors for them (at least I do since the day I met mine), we compliment them, we cook for them, we take care of them, even when their sick, help with household chores, kill spiders (I know I do since my wife has arachnid phobia) help with groceries, drive for them while they complain about our driving, lol. We pray for AND with them. We argue and make up and we do things that we never thought we would do for them (insert your own here! Lol) The woman that God gave us is a true blessing no matter what goes on between you two. Now when she asked you to get up in the middle of the night to see what that noise was (the cat getting a Lil wild!) Just remember, God sent her to you for a reason. What that may be, is part of His plan. So we'll just have to put up with it "til death do us part"!
Have a blessed and great weekend!

Judgement

We walked into Walmart to get groceries and the first thing I did was look at my wife and said "omg! Look at what she's wearing!" I did that without even thinking. I'm sure you do it as well, heck we all do because we're human. We judge one another because that's just how we are. No matter if you're black, white, yellow or whatever color. We judge someone with tattoos saying that they're dirty, how big they are because they're fat but yet we don't know their story. Maybe they had their tattoos before they really thought about it. Maybe the big person has a eating problem or a medical condition or can't lose it. You know someone who will judge you and still love you with all your imperfections? God! He doesn't care what you look like because he sees past the outside and sees your heart. That's what really counts. So next time you start to judge someone, stop for one second and think about it. They may be judging you as well.

Matthew 7 :: NIV. "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?"

Just some food for thought when you walk into a place and look around and start to "judge" someone!

My testimony

In 2014 something severe happened to me. I lost 10 years of my memory. The last thing I remember before that was working at the dept. of corrections in segregation. When a flash of light blinded me and when I opened them I was in someones back yard on my back looking at two people over me. I got up and ran away as fast as I could but suddenly realized I was in a strange area. I grabbed two rocks because I had nothing to defend myself with. When the people came around the corner I yelled for them to stay back. Soon there was sirens in the distance and paramedics arrived. After showing me some id, they approached and I finally let my guard down a Lil. On the way to the hospital the emt asked what was the last thing I remember and told him 2004. I finally called my brother because I didn't recognize anyone in my phone, which was also new to me because I had a flip phone on 2004, and told him what was going on. He called my now wife and she came to where I was. I didn't recognize her but knew she was special to me. After a few days in the hospital, I was released and went to our home. I still didn't remember anything, just that this was where we lived and instead of my son Cody, I had a daughter Peyton as well. They are with their mom but I didn't know why until Cherilyn told me the story. A few nights after that, I noticed around midnight that a light was on in the living room. I got up, sat on the couch for a moment and then someone spoke to me. Literally someone was sitting next to me on the couch. He wore a flannel shirt and jeans. Had a beard and spoke softly. It was a calming voice and just said "hey". I looked at him and replied hey and he asked me why I kept wondering why I lost my memory. I told him because it doesn't make sense. He told me that he took my memory away because I was too far off a path I was placed on. I needed to "re-see" things in different eyes.  Since then I can tell you that that man was Jesus sitting next to me. I know people will probably think I'm crazy but I know what I saw and did. And since that night, I have seen in different eyes and lately I've noticed and felt that I'm being drawn to do and say better things.
